Monte Carlo

The Casino -- The heart of all that glitters in the Riviera, this storied Belle Epoque edifice still evokes images of kings, emirs and secret agents in tuxedos.  It may just as well, for the jaded tourist will most certainly overlook its true significance today as a concert hall and architectural monument, and compare it to its larger, more garish imitations along the Strip of Las Vegas.

This photo is taken with the handheld Nikon F100, f2.8 28mm lens on ISO400 film. The print is then scanned and perspective-corrected.
