Catlins Forest, New Zealand

Tunnel Hill -- 120 years ago, hardy workers dug out this 200-meter tunnel by shovel and pick to allow passage of a coal-carrying train. The rail was completely dismantled by 1970, and the tunnel has been restored into an amusing walk through pitch darkness.

This photo is taken with the Nikon D100 digital SLR and the Nikon f/2.8 20mm D lens.
