Montana

Glacier National Park, Montana -- The brightness of high noon in summer usually washes out the scenery before the camera lens.  However, the mountains surrounding this meadow of foxgloves provide just enough shade for minimum contrast.  This scene, along the famed "Highway to the Sky," is one of my few compositions where there are no horizontal lines whatsoever.

Photo is taken with the Canon Elan, 35-80mm zoom lens, scanned ISO200 film on Kodak PhotoCD.
