Eagle's View -- Few inlets cut so deeply into the mountains as the famous Eagle Fjord which, as a branch of the Storfjord, forms a breathtaking waterway nearly 100 km in length towards the open sea.

It is rare to see Geirangerfjord so quiet and lonely. The waters are usually crossed with wakes of cruise ships, ferries and pleasure boats.

The Seven Sisters' Falls can be spotted in the distance.

This photo is taken with the Nikon F100, f2.8 28mm lens and ISO200 film on a drizzly morning.  The film is then scanned with a Minolta Dimage Dual Speed.
