Reine, Norway
Summers eve -- What appears to be a sunny afternoon here in the beguilingly scenic Lofoten town of Reine is indeed 9:00 pm (or 21.00 as the Europeans prefer) at night. The famed midnight sun is best seen at the north side of the islands, though, against the horizon of the Norwegian Sea. This photo is taken with the Nikon D100 digital SLR with the Nikon 20mm f/2.8 D lens.
