Fountain -- Commemorating the sixtieth anniversary of the Butchart Gardens
in 1964, the choreographic fountain (an early precursor to the mesmerising spectacle at
the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas) is situated at a corner of the Gardens that is
deliberately kept in its roughly-hewn natural beauty. One does not forget that much
of Vancouver Island remains a temperate rain forest of majestic firs and sublime
